Cotton, 210 x 116cm
Once worn, this dress echoes that of the Chartreux fathers. From the size of the window of the room, it would allow the one who wears it to become sky.
The represented motif is inspired by a gravure of Camille Flammarion published in 1888 in his book “The Atmosphere: Popular Meteorology” in the chapter “The shape of the sky” and entitled “A missionary of the Middle Ages tells that he had found the point where the sky and the Earth touch”.
