Cesare Pietroiusti

(Rome, 1955) is an Italian artist with a degree in Medicine with a thesis in Psychiatric Clinic (1979), he is known for his practice based on generosity, on the paradoxes of ordinary shares and economic exchanges, including the refusal to sell one’s own works, and for having contributed to creating numerous groups, research spaces and collective projects.
