Voices of Elka Krajewska and Gregor Neuerer follow each other in the reading of “Air of America” - the sound poem the two artists wrote and recorded for Air Column.

The work is an intimate reflection on the current American uprising and BLM movement (Black Lives Matter).

Elka Krajewska (US/PL) and Gregor Neuerer (Austria) met in NYC and have worked together since 2015, publishing their common projects annually, both in Europe and in the US. Their collaboration at Carico Massimo in 2018, centered on flooding and the historical openness of city of Livorno, produced “Fall Flood - Higher Ground” a spatial installation and book. The most recent American presentation of their collaboration was part of „Earth Bodies“ at Essex Flowers Gallery (2020), NYC, curated by Karen Azoulay.
